"Jim's track record at Metron Aviation has been one of exceptional performance and achievement. During his tenure, Metron Aviation's research business has grown dramatically, not only in terms of employees and locations, but in the capabilities we offer to the FAA, NASA and all of our customers," said Dave Ellison, President and Chief Executive Officer. "We are privileged to have Jim as our COO and are confident that he will guide Metron Aviation towards continued excellence and innovation."
"I am excited and honored to take on this new role at Metron Aviation," said Jim Gaughan. "I am grateful for this opportunity and look forward to continuing and growing the development of innovative concepts and capabilities for a safer and more efficient aviation system, not only for the US national airspace but for the entire global air transportation system."
