Aéroports de Paris: July 2012 traffic figures

In July 2012, Aéroports de Paris passenger traffic decreased slightly by 0.4% compared to July 2011, with a total of 8.9 million passengers handled including 6.1 million at Paris-Charles de Gaulle (- 0.8 %) and 2.8 million at Paris-Orly (+ 0.5 %).
As a reminder, July 2011 represented an all-time record in terms of passengers handled for Aéroports de Paris. On Paris-Orly, traffic for the month of July 2012 is the highest in its history.

International traffic (excluding Europe) decreased by 1.1%. Asia-Pacific rose by + 5.4 % as a result of growth in China and Japan. The French Overseas Territories is almost stable (- 0.1 %). Others international routes fall back: Middle East - 0.9 % ; North America -1.5 % ; Latin America - 2.0 % and Africa - 4.3 %.

European traffic (excluding France) was stable.

Traffic within France increased slightly by 0.3%.

The number of connecting passengers was almost stable (+ 0.1 %). The connecting rate rose by 0.2 point at 20.7 %.
Since the beginning of the year, Aéroports de Paris passenger traffic increased by 1.6 % with a total of 51.7 million passengers handled. The number of connecting passengers was up 5.1 %, resulting in a connecting rate of 23.6 % up by 0.8 point. The traffic of TAV Airports, owned at 38 % by Aéroports de Paris, increased by 33.8 %over the same period.
